remote battery low message.
Hello,
2014 bmw x5 35D Yesterday I got the message about remote battery low, replace or something. So last night I changed the battery with a fresh battery and I still got the same message. (I’ve changed these in the past with no problem. ) I checked the second key and get the same warning message. So I changed the primary’s key battery again with a fresh battery and got the same error. I tried starting the car with the key up to the column to try to re-initialize it. That didn’t work. I tried to lock unlock 5 times and multiple starts, still nothing. No codes show when I scan the car… Anyone have this problem and a solution? |

I guess I’ll answer my own question.
I did nothing and waited, and the warning went away on its own. So in some cases it might takes a several hours and restarts to make the message go away. No need to replace the car battery or mess with anything else. |
