AA GESI DPs

Thinking of ordering one for an early X-mas gift lol. Currently running AA EL Non-res and Remus, with stock DPs. Not chasing numbers, just want a louder sound without the CEL.

-Has anyone paired the AA GESI DPs with an EL? If so, are you running res or non-res? And do you experience the horrid 2k rasp with these DPs? How much louder is it compared to stock DPs?

Thanks!

Your best bet is check out TheDailyDriven on YouTube. He runs it with a similar set up.

I have them with the mad single and base muffler.

Loudness with the valves closed is not too far out from stock. Open is louder, but has a more deep tone to it. Under 40 and cruising is similar to stock, but getting on it above 40 can get pretty loud. Freeway driving you can hear it, but don’t feel it drones like some setups.

I run them with an AA single mid and remus back and it sounds great. I'm actually considering selling them and going carless since my car is track only now.

Do you hear the turbo whistle down like catless cars or no?

I’m not totally sure what that means. Usually the turbo sound comes through most on the intake side.

For example ^
It’s the last thing you hear at the end of a rev. Sounds like whistling

Ah. To be honest I’m not sure since I’m the only one that drives my car. I would say it’s definitely less than that if I had to guess.

Ugh I'd wish someone had it in the tri-state area so I could listen to it in person lol. Just want to make my Remus/EL non-res louder without the CEL.

I run these, it won't be noticeably louder.
