Modern BMW E9X M3 Build

Check out this fantastic modern BMW E9X M3 Build on YouTube.

UPDATE: This is the 3rd video in a BMW E9X M3 build series. You don't want to watch the first two videos. Look Away Kids.

Perfect for Black Friday 2023 Deals. Amazing there are new parts/mods still being made for the BMW E9X M3 even after 15 years.

Cheers

it amazes that he overlooked the main reason why his engine failed again..

and probably didn't even do the proper DCT service either.. which he didn't... since its temperature based.

Even with it spelled out in the comments, they’ll probably dismiss it as “internet folklore”

yeah, i don't get how much of that attitude is clickbait to get us engaged and how much is true ignorance. if the engine's already out, and you got a bunch of free crap for it, why not go the extra mile?

He bought a running motor with rod bearings already done I dont see why he would do it again? He should’ve did the vanos covers though

i was talking about the mains, which seems like the likely reason his first engine went.

People don’t usually change the main bearings, no?

correct, because it's an engine out job. but if your engine is already out, and your prior engine blew up (speculatively) from a main bearing issue... why wouldn't you do it? esp since they're clearly going to track the car.

But who cares if he did it not to your liking. It's thier car. If it blows up, it blows up.

The NRW Valve Covers are gorgeous. Custom Colors available...like San Marino Blue, or Interlagos Blue. ///MPorium also makes them.

Finally finished my BMW E90 M3 build in Nov 2023 after the Varis Undertray install and an hour later it goes into limp mode for the first time in 5 years. 192k miles. JINXED!!

I have to pull the codes. Hopefully, it is just the TVAs (installed Rebuilt-UK units) or O2 sensors. I think it is emissions related.

Evolve and ///MPorium have billet Vanos Covers.

Cheers
