door card/ alcantara

So I have a tear in my driver side arm rest and I’m getting around to getting it repaired. I’ve seen photos of other E9X with their door cards redone in Alcantara. Specially the arm rest and leather portion door handle/ speaker area. I’ve seen a company that sells the door cards pre done in alcantara but at the cost of $1,000+. Has anyone DIY’ed this? I know there’s plastic rivets that need to be cut.

I’d like to do this as well. I’d also like to do the plastic sides of the center console (parts directly next to the seat) in alcantara.

In the ideal world 90% of the interior is alcantara but I’m trying g to tackle the door cards first 😂
