Launch control RPM

So I tried LC for the first time last night, I wanted to wait til I had at least 2K miles on the car...it worked but my concern is the amount of wheel spin and also the car did a little bit of fish tailing. Good thing I tried this in a empty parking lot, otherwise at a stoplight I would have definitely hit the car next to me....I know you can adjust the RPMs, what do you guys recommend is the best RPM setting?

Also does the car automatically shift to second gear, how about the rest of the gears?

It shifts till you get v-max

as splinter mentioned: just floor the pedal! An Adjustment of the RPM at the Start is possible, check the manual.
