i did but still nothing. Will I be able to set it to S6 in my M button settings once it is available. Also, are you saying that once my car has it I will have to drive around with DSC off if I want to use S6 or do I just turn off DSC, set it to S6 and then turn DSC to the setting I want?

You can have it set on the M button. But as you mentioned you have to drive around with DSC turned off. Not sure, but I think it was member Swamp2 who mentioned that you can use S6 with MDM. In case you're switching DSC on again, it falls back to a lower S setting.

Best regards, south

Are you able to set S6 using the Drivelogic switch behind the shifter? Once DSC is off there should be a 6th setting shown on the dash screen which will illuminate if you push the Drivelogic switch up one more click when you are in S5 mode (again, with DSC off of course). Also, S6 should have been available from day one, there is no need to wait for a certain mileage to elapse. What is not available until approximately 1250 miles is Launch Control.

South was that ever verified? I recall that some people disputed that this was possible.

That's why I'm not sure. I just recall somebody saying this and I think it was Swamp? Can't find a thread though.

Best regards, south

If I recall correctly, he mentions this in the master M-DCT info thread, but I can't even find that right now. But, I've seen others claim it can't be done and if you select MDM via the M Button when in S6, it will revert back to S5.

(I can't test this myself since I don't have MDM)

I have the 135i with the "M" steering wheel. Is this the same one as in the M3? If it is, I agree with everyone on here, one of the coolest features in the cockpit.....

Wrong thread? Seems like you were looking for the steering wheel sausage thread with that post.

AFAIK, though, no the M wheel in the 135 is not the same as the M3 wheel.

I can't get MDM to work with S6, have no idea how you would do that.

I believe S6 is only available when DSC is completely off. I haven't been able to use it with MDM.
