The new CSL? - but not from M-GmbH - 335iSS
Found this ... have heard from SS-Cars (SuperSport) earlier but as future 1er Series TopCar ... but now as 335i?

I hope they still plan to do that to the next gen 1 series as well. I would love to see a more focused 1 series with emphasis on LW materials and engine also perhaps. A CF roof and BMW Performance seats would be cool options on a car like this. It would be great if they could figure out a way to get it closer to the 3,000-3,200 lb. range.

Too many errors in the article to take it seriously.
The 6 series is already a GT car. Not sure what a 6 GT is other than the "Department of Redndancy Department". The article says BMW never built 2 different Z series car at the same time...wrong...they built the Z3/Z4 at the same time as the Z8. BMW would NEVER put lightweight body parts on to a 335 before putting them on the M3. The publis is trying to push the 335 into a car it was never deisnged to be. It is a sporty car, but the M3 is the performance torch bearer. |
