thoughts on m3 at m school
I had the time of my life today at the m school in Spartanburg and it helped me finalize my decision on whether to keep my 335, chip it etc....or go with a e92 m3. Straight line I'm sure I could get the 335 to be more the competant but the moment I took that first turn at full speed I finally understood what people described as the "m" feel. It is like comparing a surgeons touch vs a butchers cut. There may be very skilled butchers (my 335) but would you let your local butcher open you up. It's truly amazing at the top end. An m3 should spend 90% of it's time between 6500 and 8000 rpms. Any thing else would be ashame. It's like unleashing a caged cheetah. So fast so precise, so composed and the steering feedback is tremendous. All you current m3 owners are lucky guys/gals.

Try test driving the 2009 Porsche Cayman S with PDK... Impressive as well.
I'm still a M5 Driver though. I'm glad you enjoyed the M School. Do you have any pictures?

Well said, this is what I tell all my buddies with 335s. They are great cars and can b made to compete if not beat M3s on straight lines however once u hit the corners u really appreciate the M cars.
