Blinder m-45 Extreme Laser Jammer
Hey guys, i think I've decided to go with the Blinder Laser Jammer... my V1 is coming in the mail tomorrow and with the jammer I should be pretty well covered in the speeding ticket department. I have searched already and have not found any DIY installs of this product or any other similar ones. First off if anyone has done it/has a link I and I'm sure others would greatly appreciate it. If not does anyone know a good place to route wires through the firewall. This seems to be the biggest problem to DIY for me, especially since everything is jammed into the engine bay and there is not much room to maneuver. If you have the Cheetah wireless kit could you provide some feedback? I'm a little scared to go with the wireless... just seems more likely for something to go wrong. Alright enough rambling... thanks for any and all help provided.

the blinder is good... but if u want the best go with a laser interceptor system.

Here is a good comparo from GOL. Worth a read. I wish the ZR4 did better as it is a direct plug into all Escort products. I guess it would help to know which laser gun your locals were using.

I installed the M-25 on my car, I went with the cheetah wireless kit so I wouldn't have to make any holes in the firewall. So far it works great.. it keeps in constant communication with the transmitter in the engine bay. If it misses a few signals, it keeps track and I believe it alerts you. So far I haven't heard anything bad about the wireless kit.
Since you have the M-45, were you planning on putting all 4 heads up front or splitting them between front and rear? |

def splitting them... not sure if i wanna do 3 in the front 1 in the back or 2 and 2... still messing around with ideas.

so i was thinking that since the car in that test had a front license plate and a chrome grill, do you think that the results would improve in my 1 that has got a black grill and no license plate(PA resident)? As much as i would love to just get the laser interceptor that's some serious $$ to shell out.

never got one... my V1 has been doing just fine, doesn't seem the cops in my area are using laser as of now. I'm just careful with my driving habits... plus i picked up the Dinan Stage II which kinda hurt the budget lol

I have the Laser Mask (LCM 2) 4 head system. Still brand new in the box sitting in my trunk. Glad I never had it installed being I am switching into a 135i next week.

um did u see the chart above from the guys of lidar... doesnt look to be the best, but wh o knows if that test was skewed one way or the other. Def let us know how it is.
