(Good) Parking Garage Story

Just a light story:

I had to go into Boston yesterday for a business meeting. I pulled into a parking garage right behind a Lexus SUV. The SUV drove in and I followed. Once I got my ticket a parking attendant rushed out to stop me.

I thought maybe the garage was full, but he said 'High-end car! Don't go up there, park it over here.' He pointed to a quiet corner of the 1st floor that had big spaces. He had me park next to a nice Porsche Carrera 2 (964?) convertible.

The attendant was really cool and really did me a favor.

Did you give him a tip? He probably gets a big portion of his tips that way.

What garage was it? I work in downtown Boston every day and would love to use this garage.

The garage was Fitz-Inn Auto Parks Inc on Farnsworth street.

and yes, he got a tip.

Wow that sounds awesome. It's a good thing you tipped the guy, he was appreciative and sounded like he respected your car unlike other attendants who couldn't care less what comes in and out.

Sure it's just an M3 but its also not a chevy cavalier. Cool guy

He knows that your car is way more than a normal valued car. So he is expecting a bigger tip. That guy must be a lobbyist.

Haha, that's a good story. There was this one time when two parking attendants almost got into a physical altercation arguing who was going to park my M3... one of the funniest things I have ever seen in NYC.
