Changing Brake Discs
Hi Guys
I just bought some spare brake discs from my dealer. He also sold me 3 sensor cables for a total of over £45! DO I need to replace these when I change them? He's also given me some sachets of lubricant to stop the brakes squeaking. I'm a bit worried about changing the pads now - it seems like it might be more complicated that I had thought. Is there a guide or anything to show me what to do? My pads don't need changing at the moment but I've got them so I can replace them at the track in case I use them up. Thanks

I think you mean to say you bought pads not discs. There is a DIY for pad replacement in the DIY section:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246116 You should get high temperature pads for track use. The contact wear sensors do not need to be replaced every time you replace pads although dealers will do that per protocol.

Well done for spotting the deliberate mistake! Of course I meant pads.
I'm not changing the pads for the track, I just want a set in case I need them at the track. Thanks for the link
