reverse feature
I can't believe I’ve had my M since October and I’m still discovering new features. While driving today I adjusted only the left mirror slightly and not the right so I kept the mirror selector on left mirror. When I returned home today, I always park in the garage in reverse, I noticed my right mirror dropped to an downward angle when put in reverse. (I did it a few times to see if I wasn’t going crazy. This only happens when you leave the selector on the left) Well anyways I thought that was a nice little feature to complement the distance gauge.

They call it curb monitor or something like that. When the switch is on the driver's side mirror, the passenger side will tilt down when you go in reverse. If you don't want it to or find it distracting, leave the switch set to control the passenger mirror.

Yep, nice cool feature. I think most bimmers if not all have it. Had it on my last 2. Eventually though, it will work on and off. I just take the car to the dealer to get it reset.

I love finding these little tidbits. I just noticed that the rear LED brake lights slowly fade up and down when locking or unlocking. I never noticed this previously because I use comfort access and never see the rear lights when locking/unlocking.
