Upshift Exhaust Pops

I have the stock exhaust on my car and im taking my car in for servicing tommorow, new brakes, complete oil change, steering and suspension alignment and general inspection and replacement.

So today im accelerating on the street at around 30 miles an hour and i shift to 3rd gear in s3 and i hear a loud exhaust pop. has anyone heard upshift pops

i have heard downshift pops sometimes but this is the first upshift pop.

Mine does that, but only since I've removed the secondary cats and resonators. Never had it happen when it had stock exhaust .

13000 miles already need new breaks? I guess I should brake harder, the brake pads counter on my idrive only increases and I have 5000 miles already.

I get those pops occasionally, too. Especially under hard acceleration. Much more noticeable with an aftermarket exhaust (mufflers only).

I get the pops all the time with the AA exhaust system but never on the OEM one...although I didn't have it on the car long!

no exhaust pops on my stock exhaust. I haven't heard a single one and my M has 22,000km.
