Jlevi SW | Pre-Order Your Vorsteiner Vented Race Hood TODAY

Guys
Not much to say at this point. You've all helped so much with input and feedback, and now, the hood is almost ready.

The first 20 Production spots are already reserved for JleviSW customers.

Two of them are full already.

Pricing will be $1350 for Single Sided Carbon and $1753 for Double Sided Carbon Fiber. These prices include a 10% discount but do not include shipping.

Anyways...
You may now call or email us to reserve your production spot for this hood. We will not be taking deposits, because the date is not for sure yet, but we expect the hood to be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.

This is merely an opportunity to place yourself in the queue for the first hoods with NO MONEY DOWN!

Call or email JleviSW to secure your position.

Thanks guys!
JL

Generally, an OEM hood is 40-45lbs, a Vorsteiner hood is 20LBS.

Sorry, I meant between the single sided and double sided carbon fiber hoods? And do these need hood pins?

Oh, that's negligible... 3-4lbs, maybe 5. No hood pins needed!

Ohh, this might look nice on my SGM. Do you guys have any more pics? And is pick-up an option to save on shipping? I'm going to be driving down to Redwood City in a couple of months to visit my folks.

Are the vents in the hood open to the engine bay? I got my Seibon hood yesterday and it turns out that the vents aren't really vents. Thinking about going to Vorsteiner route now...

Those are the best pictures we have right now but I will have the first hood on my car so pictures will be soon to follow

We can have you pick up locally but do need to ship the hood from Vorsteiner in Southern California.

Of course, the vents are strategically placed and fully functional to offer better ventilation.

You can run this hood in the rain or leave the car out in the rain. The vents do allow water to enter the engine bay but there are no adverse effects on the engine or intake. We are running a vented hood on Jon's E92 335 with an open filter intake system and it's never been a problem. The only time you run into an issue is if you submerge your intake filter under water. Water from rain will not cause hydrolock.

PM me your complete address and I can calculate a total.

We can paint them but I don't recommend it. Paint is susceptible to shipping damage and it's best to have a local shop match your car's paint fade. With that said, we can do it for you if you prefer.

love how this hood is made by vorsteiner, one of the most reputable around, and still it's less than the OEM diffuser!

PM sent.

E81 and E82 use the same hood so this hood will fit both cars.
