Trapster
Anyone tried this out? Looks pretty good albeit potentially a bit of a data and battery drain.
I've downloaded it but not used it yet. http://www.trapster.com/ |

I just installed it today and it is accurate. Spotted a mobile camera coming back from Altona. The application beeps to warn you of a trap within promitity of your location. You will need to turn it on when driving for it to work! |

The level of policing in Oz has become insufferable and turned it into a Nanny State. Not missing that. Do miss Germany ..

Thanks for the feedback guys - must turn it on going home tonight!
Dynolicous is cool. Try turning it on and swing your hand around. Funny - apparently my left arm has 120kw but my right only has 45! |

Started out wanting to use the iPhone for music in the car but the only time I listen to music on it is when I'm flying. I hook it up to my Bose QuietComfort 3's and I could be anywhere. |

Yes, it does have a 40Gb hard drive but I'm pretty sure it's only used for navigation. So far I haven't found any options to download music to it but I havent really looked that hard. |

Aggie... totally. Hmmm... I hate long haul so anything that will make me feel that I'm remotely comfortable is a great thing!

Well you wouldn't believe it....I walked into an Optus store and they had a few 3Gs 32Gb ready to go - so I took two!
And what a plan!.......$89/month which includes the phone, unlimited calls, text and MMS up to $610/month to phones on ANY network, unlimited calls, text and MMS to phones on Optus up to $640/month. 3000minutes free calls per month to one nominated Optus number (the wife's) and to top it all - 1Gb internet content up/downloads per month! All within OZ of course - does not apply to overseas calls. Ive now downloaded Dynolicious and aching to give it a go! The only problem I've had so far is that when I connect the iPhone to my laptop it shows a blue error screen and causes the laptop to reboot. (Not the dreaded "blue screen of death") |
