Hello Everyone!
Hello everyone!
Though FCP Groton's presence is not a new addition to this community, I would like to reintroduce what FCP is made of and what we do. My name is Andrew, and I am now the one who will be representing FCP Groton on this forum. I will be the acting online communications facilitator, here to talk about anything and everything related to all BMWs in general. We are eager to work our way further into multiple car communities so that our company can become mutually more familiar with the community members. Fortunately for me my position entails duties which I thoroughly enjoy. I would like you all to know that the time that I spend on this forum and others is in no way going to be a forced habit. When I go home, this is exactly what I do. Though I should be a little vague about the extent of my interests so that I can still say I show up at 8am to actually work, I'll leave that discretion for another forum. If I incorporate automotive discussion into my work day, I feel like I am cheating the system because cars are such a gift that it must be wrong to get paid while embracing them. Anyways, I've always been really into computers, and I am also insanely into cars. Making all of these fields come together into one really is a dream of mine. Enjoying a day out at a car show with friends, meeting new people, talking about anything car related in general, going to car meets, etc - all are great things to me. When I am not working, that is also what I am doing. Car meets, cruises, shows, track days, etc, ripping up back roads, etc. I love all different types of cars (and bikes) and respect many different forms of automotive heritage. Ever since I was old enough to walk, getting to the point of being able to reach the pedals was the only thing on my mind. In the coming years I plan on extending what is in my garage from one car and one bike to many cars and many bikes. As far as any type of racing preferences go I think rally, F1, and Moto GP are all very awesome and challenging types of races - however what I find interesting isn't only limited to that. I have always loved many of the BMWs that we will be talking about on this website, and gain more respect for the design of them every time I have the honor of taking one even a mile down the road. I know that BMW has an extensive heritage in multiple forms or "tastes" of racing, and unlike many ignorant enthusiasts, I can respect them and desire them despite owning one of BMW’s competitors. I see my presence here as an opportunity to learn about yet another thing I love, and hopefully contribute as we say, my "2 cents" to discussions. Currently what gets me to and from work and anything and everything else is a 1994 Volvo 850 T-5 with not much done to it at the moment, but it will have much more done to it in the not so distant future. The car is by no means slow. The stock turbo charged inline 5 still has 225 HP but I would like to get it to at least 300WHP with it still being reliable. If I feel I need to go faster than that, I always have my backup plan which is a 1989 Kawasaki ZX-7R. Don’t let the age fool you; this bike is just as fast as the modern day R6. It has a full exhaust and K&N Air Intake system with a stage 3 jet kit. This gives me about 125 HP and 80 LB of torque, achieving a 0 – 60 time around 3 seconds, if I remember correctly. Anyways, enjoy your time on this board, I will too. I look forward to talking to all of you. Please feel free to take a look around our official website by simply clicking the link in my signature. Thank you for your time.

I've ordered brake fluid from these guys in the past for my old STi - good prices, and arrived well packaged and in a timely manner.

STI to 09 M3, quite the upgrade! A co-worker of mine has a WRX with an STi swap, but I know he dreams of M3's.. other then in the winter.
