Auxillary input Volume
Hi
new 135i owner. i noticed when using an ipod with a 3.5 mm jack that the volume did not go as loud as when using the normal cd player or the radio. i could not find any specific volume setting for the aux input apart from the drive faster setting which is on full anyway the ipod is also turned up to full does anyone know if there is a setting for the aux input volume ? whether its part of the i drive menu that i can access or whether its something bmw can do ? thanks |

aux volume
Hi, with your ipod on, press button on radio which has a musical symbol on.You will eventually get to aux volume having gone through bass, treble, balance etc.You can then press button to increase volume.

Right on the radio display - just above the selection buttons - when you are playing through the AUX port - the middle button displays AUV-VOL - if you press the button, you can adjust the input volume from 1 to 5.

i am starting think i dont have the same equipment in my car that you have i have the dvd equipment for the sat nav above that is the cd slot on the cd players is the FAV buttons and the volume control i do not have a radio display apart from on the i drive screen itself where you can move to whatever radio channel you want so when you say Radio Display, are you talking about on the I Drive pop up screen or a completely different piece of equipment ? |

Aha! I think Lester was talking about the buttons on a non-idrive radio as I have in my 135.
I'm guessing there will be an option som place in an idrive menu for the aux input volume...sorry can't help further as I don't have idrive. |
