Left Brake Light??

i keep getting this light that comes on with "Left Brake Light Malfunction"

but my brake light is fine and works when lights are on and off and when you hit the brake. weird

anyone have this or is it a warning the bulb is going??

i also wonder if it has to do with the glitch i get in my head unit

Same for me...seems to come and go over the last three weeks. Checked connection and bulb, but still 'pops-on' intermittently. I'll have it addressed by the dealer on some other 'necessary' visit unless the lights are really do malfunction.

There is a bulletin on this. Call your local BMW dealer. They should have a fix for it.

yea this happens to me also. is there a way to find out what that bulletin is?

just got this this morning... but there was actually a bulb out so I'm glad it warned me
