Need Suspension Help, Missing Bolts?? Rubbing..?
I recently had RD Sport Springs installed with Macht Schnell 10F/12R spacers and hear a little rubbing in the back.. i think..(part2)
I get under the car and realize there are some bolts missing. Can someone check to see if this is normal, or the installers error This is both sides, Rear Suspension.. Bolt A is missing a nut on the rear side (A') and Bolt B is missing a nut as well.. This is the same on BOTH sides.. (part 2) Anyone experiece rubbing with 19" OEM wheels RD Sport Springs 12mm+ spacer....? The rubbing only really happens when the car is cold, and only at slow speeds while IN gear.. after normal driving it goes away (which is strange).. Any input u might have would be greatly appreciated... I am going to further my investigation by removing the spacers, i will keep this updated.. ...

I have had the same problem for a long time, just never thought too much of it. Same thing, when the cars cold and i make a tight slow turn (usually to the right)...the sound comes from the rear?
Find out what it was? REVIVED THREAD!

If the sound only occurs during tight corners at lower speeds, this is likely noise from the differential. BMW has a service bulletin addressing this issue by using a diff. fluid with some additives.
