lc6 help needed

i had a reputable shop put an audio control lc6 in, memphis speakers, and amps, and a rockford t2 12 inch in the car, everything sounds great but for some reason when the sub hits the speakers cut but only when listening to the radio. It is as if it is loosing reception speakers all crackle and pop, but when listening to my ipod through the aux in this doesn't happen. I turn the sub off and the radio works just fine. The shop is baffled and so am i to say the least for now im just listening to my ipod until i can get this sorted but any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

What OEM system and what amps do this 135i has?

turned up the gain on the amp running the speaker and put a 4 farad cap in its better but still i loose reception. Trying to figure out where to get the connector or if they even make one to put in a new head unit but i still want my idrive to work. Help would be appreciated. Its got all memphis stuff in it i dont know much about the factory set up.

It will be very difficult to receive any meaningful help if you don't even know what OEM system do you have.

IMO, take your system back to that "reputable" shop and let them deal with what they did and you paid for. They should not be "baffled" if they have done a proper job.

Dude, that 4 farad cap ain't helping. Not clear that this shop has a clue. Which shop is it?

The LC6 can generate a remote turn on output with signal sensing, but we have no idea if they hooked it up right. Technic is right - make the guys who you gave the money to, fix it, because we can't land this plane over the internet asking you questions, because you don't know the answers - only the installer does.

Have they used Class D amps??

These can interfere badly with FM causing noise which in turn could clip the amp.

they got it all right finally... memphis speakers suck though they all blew theyre refunding me on the speakers and im gonna prolly get some focals this week.

Sigh. Glad you're happy.

Memphis speakers aren't the best-sounding in the world, but they don't all "blow" for no reason. Why do I suspect you hammer on this stuff?

cause i do... thats why i go aftermarket for every system in every car factory not loud or clear enough you should hear my truck! not all blown just the crossovers and the tweets, funny its all memphis and yet the memphis speakers cant handle the memphis amps power. Any recommendations one speakers?

talk to Musicar. Ken has been very helpful in helping me figure out options for my 135 (though I doubt I crank it nearly as loud as you).
