Ski bag?
Does 2009 E90 M3 cold weather package include a ski bag? Mine was delivered without ski bag - just a pass-though. I am wondering if this is normal...

I just downloaded a 2009 M3 brochure and it says the cold weather package consists of:
headlight cleaning system 3 stage heated front seats fold down rear seats through-loading rear seats Mine does not have a ski bag either but I think the 2010's do. I have a ski bag anyway so I just fold the seat down so it fits.

I have e92 2010, open the rear center arm rest. there is a box, open the box and you will see your ski bag..
its kind of a "half" ski bag. so when that box is attached to the car, you load skis thru it. it allows you to lock your skis to seat belts via bag and also doesnt let the dirt get in to your car. however it is a different story for the trunk. as i said it is "half" ski bag so the half that is not inside the car but in the trunk is left open which sucks.

Then ask your dealer, they will give you a new box. the skibag is installed in the frame such that you cant take it out. So they will give you a new box.

I have a 2009 E90 and I asked about the ski bag when my car was redelivered after Euro Delivery. My CA said that the bag only comes in the coupe and vert, not the sedan. I never got an answer as to why they do it that way.

So I ask my dealer about this and he said mine should have had it so he gave me one so now I have it. Said coupe should have it in 2009 so now I'm in the ski bag club. Thanks everyone.

My sedan came with a ski bag. It's a Canadian car though.

My dealer promised to mail me one after I told him that everybody else has it. Regarding sedan not having it - I found it mentioned in several reviews for Sedan, and it would be strange for just one car variation in the entire 3 series line up not to have it. Regular 3 series sedans do have it - confirmed by over a dozen people (I love Internet)

I have a 2009 sedan (US-spec) and it did not come with the ski bag but with a container box that fits into the passthrough, although the very detailed invoice that BMW International Sales provides for US-spec cars purchased directly from BMW AG did listed a ski bag as part of the cold weather option. When I asked BMW IDS about it I was told it was omitted from the 2009 models (like the tools, etc) but because I had ordered mine just as the 08 to 09 transition was occurring, the order system still showed it on the invoice. I insisted that if it was on the invoice, it was paid for...and they had to agree and ended up shipping me one from Munich. So I ended with both the ski bag and the container box. This is great because when I swap the winter tires out, I put the box in and vice versa, and get a littel extra storage space. I think the ski bag runs US$350...
