In 2011 Electronic Damping Control is now an aditional Option?

I could be wrong, but I think BMW is being slick now.. because it seems that instead of Electronic Damping Control being part of the standard ZTP Technology package BMW wants to charge $2500.00 for this feature alone when (if I'm not mistaken) it use to be included with the $3,250.00 Technology package.

Please help clear this up. As I may be mistaking..

Not sure where you got the info. EDC is still part of ZTP or ZCP on bmwusa.com and on the pricing sheet.

What you are looking at (for $2,500) is the ZCP competition package, which includes EDC, 10mm lower suspension, and the GTS 19" wheels. When you get ZTP and ZCP together, ZTP is reduced to $2,500.

Or you may be confusing the fact that if you order the Comp package ($2500), then the price of the tech package drops from $3250 to $2500, since some of the tech options are included in the Comp pack...

Just one option is shared between ZTP and ZCP and that is the EDC option. So basically, with ZTP already optioned, you pay $1750 additional for ZCP which gives you the 339M wheels, 1mm suspension drop, and minor software changes.

Are you sure you didn't mean a 10mm drop instead of just 1mm.
