The stock wheel is a very nice piece. The only way it could have been better is if it had a flat lap shape on the bottom of the wheel like my Audi TT And RS4 had. Other then that, IMAO I think it's a wasted Mod.

I have been on the fence about it for a while. Most of the features are only useful on the track like the lap timer and the g meter. I don't think the shift lights are of any use if you already have the lights on the DCT. I have a manual but still don't think they would be of much use because I shift by the sound of the engine.

I do think the seperate oil and coolant temps would be of great value. To me that would be a toss up with loosing the tricolor stitching. I am not a big fan of the alcantara but that is a personal preference.

Of course, if I had a 430 I doubt I would track my M3 very often.

I have it on my 335 right now and am selling it.

It's cool and all but I honestly never use it for anything other than steering the car, so it is not really worth it to me. Just a cool talking piece to passengers.

PS- Its for sale

The stock M wheel is absolutely perfect, just fine. Some say it's too thick (like EVO mag for example) I find it to be just right.

The Performance wheel (currently not available) is complete overkill and unnecessary - you have shift lights in the tack, wtf do you need two more sets for???

i have one and like it, not worth 2k at all though. at least in canada.
i have a 6mt so the shift lights are nice and i use the lcd oil temp and gforce functions daily.
i like the alcantara inserts and thick top bolsters, its a fun gadget to play with in a relatively somber cabin - thats why i bought it, too bored inside in traffic and stuff i guess.

agreed, dont know if that timeline is 100% though/
also, the orange backlighting of the current psw flows better with the cabin than the upcoming white backlighting featured on the new wheel - albeit it would match the gauges.... wow i'm anal.

I agree, a flat bottom would be awesome, I really prefer driving with one compared to a standard wheel.
