Less than 2K miles and ran over a parking stop at 20 mph...Got Questions...
This probably sounds retarded, but, with less than 2k miles, I was in the target parking lot and did not see the handicap parking stop and went right over it at 20mph...
It's really pissing me off, but all I have to blame is myself... Car looks fine...no real damage at all...wheels seem fine as do the tires... What should I do...? Alignment...? Get it checked out...? New to this stuff, if anyone can chime in... Thanks... Parking Bump: |

I agree with the post above....and if you don't notice anything out of the ordinary I would get it checked out if you haven't done your 1200 mile break in service. Or call them back and ask them if they messed with the suspension and have them look at it under warranty.
When I got my 1200 mile service done in Germany I had them put spacers on and they realigned it at no extra charge. Included it under warrantly, but I HAD awesome german techs and SA!!

Why were you going 20 MPH in a parking lot around handicap spots?

At that speed, I'd say you threw alignment off at the very least. I'd also check the black part below the front bumper; it doesn't clear a parking stop (at least the typical ones in the US), so you probably broke it. If you didn't break it, the parking stop is smaller than ours, and might be possible to have averted damage, but I'd check the alignment for sure, especially with tires costing 2 grand. Good luck man, and pay attention when you're driving .
