DCT Slippage in 1st gear

My '08 coupe recently hit the 25K mark.
The car has not been abused.

On occasion the engine will rev higher than usual before the transmission engages. The normal rpm is around 1500. When this occurs the engine will rev up to 2000rpm. It happened yesterday on an essentially flat / level surface when the car was cold.

This does not happen all of the time i.e. it is erratic.

The best comparison would be to imagine you have a manual and are not fully letting the clutch out until the rpm hits 2000.

Anyone else have this issue?

When the car is not warm, I am very gettle with it. It is very sensitive the first few minutes. After that the only issues I have had is with 2nd. Either the lag issue or a shift issue at a light but for most part, drive it a few minutes and it has more performance than I have ability.
