No more front/rear reflectors needed

in Canada. as of 2 weeks ago, cars should be getting shipped to canada without those hideous orange bumper reflectors. we will get cars with euro spec bumpers now.
sorry usa, no word on changes for you guys.
what a drag for USA, no edition models, orange reflectors...you guys need to change some rules down under

I love listening to you MARYS complain about how bad the front reflectors look. WHO CARES!!!! You could be running the car with leaded gas and no oil..."but as long as I have my painted reflectors...everything is cool."

Where did you get this info from? I just ordered my car, should be here end of October, so that would be good for me

at the neckarsulm r8 factory in germany, brand new r8v10 was going to canada with euro spec bumpers. as of two weeks ago, they are no longer needing the orange reflectors. i'm assuming the same rules apply to bmw.

I think they look good with Interlagos Blue--nice contrast, not to mention Orange & Blue are UVA's school colors. I would much rather have them than some cheezy painted reflector that looks like you patched the bumper.

i confirmed it personally at the R8 factory. have not seen a press release to this effect but i don't think audi would be shipping a spanking new R8V10 to canada without reflectors if the safety laws wouldn't allow it. especially if they made a point of telling me what i have passed on to you here.

you can always call transport canada to check

If this is true, it's about time they got rid of that law! In 2010 those bumper reflectors are useless - just my opinion
