Interlagos vs LeMans blue

Anyone have pics side by side or 2 good pics next to each other. Making a jump to M3. Thx

If you go to a dealer they have the color books which make side-by-side possible. They're actual paint / leather/ trim swatches. Lemans is a brilliant medium blue, interlagos has a little purple in it.

BS, Le Mans Blue is, and my opinion is way more important than yours

Seriously, you can't go wrong with either one...but IB has pink metallic flakes in it, so the guys who have that color might be a little...over the rainbow.

There is nothing over the rainbow about Interlagos. After all it is an official M-color.

Will never see a base 328i with it.

Who cares if it's M-specific if it's ugly? SSII is M-specific and it's not very attractive either. LMB has a metallic in it where IB is not really a red pearl but the flake give it that kind of look so it doesn't look like a true metallic or a true pearl. Almost like a flip=flop but not as intense. It's a very cool way to do the paint, I just didn't care for the purple. In the sub IB and LMB look very, very similar.

Both are great but in the end I'd probably go with IB just because it's an M only color.

Well my wife says IB is a girl color and she is one so that should count. She wants an IB X5!

Actually, when I went to M-school first at the PDC then at VIR, I found that SSII is just about the most attractive M-specific color when you have all the colors lined up on actual cars.

IB looks great to me, I don't think I've ever seem LMB in person to compare it with though.

Which sounds like "It's the prettiest of the ugly colors." Maybe It's just the way I'm reading it, but if it was th ebest M3 color I don't think you'd have placed the "M-specific" qualifier in there which just further proves my point.

i agree, it looks like a purple-ish blue to me. to each is own. i love the Lemans blue though. would look great with the oyster interior

agree. SSII with the blue interior + extended leather = sex.
with that said, my next car is going to be black or grey. no more catchy color for me.

well, if im gonna pay 70+k on a car, id rather get something exclusive to that line up imo.
