6:30 pick up tonight

Using this thread as a place holder for pictures later. Alpine White ZCP e90 with Black and Fox Red interior. I can't freaking wait. Time is going by so slowly though pics will be up tonight!

From reading some of the previous 'dealership' pickup stories; it will be dark, make sure you have plenty of light to inspect the car. Congrats BTW.

Hey buddy. Make sure you look at it carefully. you dont want to discover any scratches during the day time tomorrow. If possible have it be inside so that you can look at it carefully. just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, will do. I'll also be getting the paint Microns measured on Monday. I better not see any abnormalities, which I doubt I will. Only took a week from the boat being docked, to the car arriving at the dealer so I doubt they did any work at the VPC. Who knows. Thanks again.

when i picked my car up it was dark. the exterior lighting at the dealership wasnt amazing and as i returned home under my garage lighting i spotted several things they didnt do well on the detailing - a couple spots they missed removing polish or was, a copy small (a buffer would easily remove) scratches and rub type marks.

definitely try to inspect in the light so you can be certain its taken care of. Also inspect the interior leather - I found a few wear marks on mine that should not have been there.

Funny you mention that. I informed them I didn't want it detailed or washed. Gonna spend some time with it on Sunday before it gets clear bra'd hitting it with some Menzerna polishes followed by a layer of power lock and Swissvax Insignis.

i would never take delivery of a 77k machine at night, no matter how good dealer lighting is....nothing reveals all like sunlight!

why dont you ask them to do it tomorrow morning? 12 more hrs wont kill ya, especially if u might regret it for the next several years...just a thought..

congrats!

I like to think I have a pretty good eye for defects after detailing for 2 years now. Anyway, the car is perfect, doesn't need any correction work on the paint really, though I will be going over it with a mild abrasive to even everything out.

Thanks for the good wishes guys here are some quick pics from my Blackberry. Will get some better ones after Sundays garage session w/ the car.

Don't bother sealing any area that will be clearbra'd since they're going to remove the sealant anyway to make sure the bra adheres correctly. I would, however, polish everything.

Steven its well worth the wait man, such a fun amazing car. This thing certainly does not behave like a family car. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Looks like we got sunny days all this week- perfect for a boy and his new car lol

Nice car. Could you post some more interior pics? There are not too many pics of the two tone interior. I saw a silverstone/black interior at the M Power Tour but have not seen the fox red/black interior yet.

Of course, I haven't seen any pics up on this forum either. I'll be home around 7 from work and I'll snap a few quick shots then.

Nice. Is that your wife's purse strap? You're gonna have to match that to the FR a little better!
