Will my stoptech BBK from my 335 work on a M3?

Stoptech or Dave Zechhausen could tell you for sure. I think, if the bias division is the same it should work. If not, they would have to install different size pistons, and you might need different mounting brackets. Since the M3 can accommodate the larger rotors, you would give up a bit of cooling capacity and, I think, clamping leverage, but that's getting beyond my level of understanding.

i believe all you need would be different mounting brackets.

bigger master cylinder? i dont think u need this. if you buy an m3 specific kit, u can use the oem master cylinder. if op is trying to retrofit a bbk from a 335 onto an m3, u wont need a bigger master cylinder either.

Shouldn't make any difference if the bias setup is the same. If I understand correctly, this is what determines the appropriate combination of piston sizes.

There are a few things that need to be taken into account.

You will need new mounting brackets. You'll have to see if the piston sizes are the same. You'll need to see if the rotors/hats will work on the m3 hub and if they will not obstruct proper mounting of the caliper. Lastly, you'll need to confirm that the master cylinder is indeed the same size and provides the same amount of pressure as the 335. This could great a very hard or soft pedal depending on the variance.

Thanks for the reply. I called Stoptech and they told me they were completely different kits. So i sold my BBK. I guess i'll roll with stock breaks
