What Is The Highest Oil Temp You Have Seen?

Just wondering if this is normal.

Conditions were 82F and sunny, driving at a steady 80mph for 4 miles. Then stopped and took this photo after 10 minutes.

Normal. When I did the M School at Spartanburg, the M3's were running about 275 all day long.

Yea that's normal. On cooler days mine if pretty dead center and on warmer days center-slightly right.

Perfectly normal. My car holds steady around ~240-250F at the track, so 210 is hardly breaking a sweat for an M3.

Oh and just throwing this out there, the standard oil temp for the 335i is like 240-250...

292F in Willow Springs on a 105F day... couldn't do more than 3 hot laps for the time attack event before the engine cuts power to let it cool down...

you're well within the limits, don't worry

I get that even in winter. It varies from dead center to that position all year long, from freezing to triple digits. Driving normally, of course.
