Car says service needed in 1100mi
Hey guys
New to area. Military type just moved by Uncle Sam to San Antonio this past summer. So far I've noted that I may have one of what seems like a handful of M3's in this city which is most impressive coming from Maryland/DC where we regularly went on runs to Skyline Drive with like 10-20 M cars! What's the deal with that? Can't go 10 feet without throwing running into a Lexus or a Mustang here but NO M3's?  Anyway my car is showing its time for service when I start it...1100 miles to service and I think I need to get it done before I go TDY and don't have time/ability to do it while out of town starting in Feb next year. Anythoughts on where to take it? My former dealer in MD (Passport BMW...two thumbs up) was great and I'd been with them for like 10 years and they always took great care of me..and okay I am spoiled. Soo...only place I've seen is BMW of San Antonio...is that it? Is that the place? Ask cause my car is in good condition and lightly modded with Dinan ECU upgrade, Dinan Suspension package, Eissenman Sport Exhaust, 09 idrive upgrade, stainless steel brake lines, Performance air filter (K&N I think) , and a CF rear/front diffuser which I'd like to kinda protect and see stay with my car and I've heard horror stories on the forum of guys taking their cars and having new dealers (to them) just mess things up especially modded cars! So I kinda want to go to somebody who let's say "understands" me and my car. Any thoughts or suggestions? A drive/road trip is okay with me as long as its worth the trip...afterall I drove the car 1600+ miles here from MD..what's a few more among friends!  Rob

if you make the drive to Houston, BMW of Houston North is supposed to be pretty tolerant about mods (they're a Dinan dealer too)

Very good service BTW; love the theatre and coffee bar they have there. Also the X6M was nice as well in the lot but not at $108k (that was with the Passport 9500ci radar detector system already installed!)
