Is anyone here got the clutch pressure plate problem?

hi, everyone,

i just pick up my manual 2011 e92 m3 for one month, and just finish the 2000km inspection on it, and i found the transmission is shift hard from 1st gear to 2nd gear, and also found the problem on clutch, because everytime i push clutch and shift, after that i ease out on the clutch, but is no feeling on the clutch , it should be some power push my heel back right >> i just feel very soft from the clutch, then i come back and complain, dealership change the clutch master cylinder for me .. and said for M car , the noise when i shifting is 1st to 2nd gear is normal, it just like the mechanical sound , but i can't accept that why the M3 clutch is just like a Civic feeling when i ease out on the clutch , mechanic told me that is a sport car , it should be like that feeling, and my friends think that should be problem with the clutch pressure plate, but they don't accept my complain. so are your guys got the same problem with me ?? or it just like what the mechanic said, that is normal feeling for a M3 clutch ???

lol. I asked myself the same question too. when you start up cold. the car running really rough and first gear to second gear has that click sound..kind of funny sound. the clutch pedal didn't bother me at all.. but the gear shifting sound does a little bit.. but it is only from first to second..the rest is fine.

It is normal, the 1 to 2 gear is normal, as long as it is not grinding and it is not imposible to shift to 2nd, then you are good. As far as the clutch pedal not pushing back at you, is normal too. There is an online valve that prevents the fluid to rush back as you release the pedal. If you were having problems with the pressure plate, you would not be able to shift on any gear, period. If anything was wrong with your 1 and 2 gears, it would be your syncros for those particular gears going bad, not you pressure plate.
