Just Purchased 09 M3 Sedan

My lease is up in February and I just purchased a 09 M3 Sedan
Space Gray
Black Leather
Pretty much every option I could find except parking distance/sunroof(moon roof)

Paid $53.9K and car has 6200 miles on it. Not CPO but via BMW dealer and warranty good until Sep 2013.

What do you guys think I think price was decent not great but I don't think I was going to get it down much more and no guarantee I'd find another by February.

Did they give you a reson why it was not CPO (already low milage and year maybe?)

Seems like one reason was the mileage, I've read has to be above 10K and another said above 6K however, they could CPO it which would also lift the price up more. I figured it wasn't with the $3K extra as I'd only hit the 60K service under CPO and that would be under $3K. Just gotta try to beat the crap out of the brakes to get a set before the original warranty ends =P.

Are there any software or fix issues I should have checked. I think I have read about the following but not sure how to tell:

1. Edmunds posted some recall related to downshifting and stalling on hard stops
2. People mentioned shift lag is it between certain gears or is there a way to tell? The shifting is pretty nuts as is. It still weird to me how the car acts like a manual but it's an automatic (revving to reverse and low speed starts...)

Another question:

I am not sure whether the car has HD radio there is the check box for HD radio under the radio options but I cannot seem to access the HD radio stations unless I am doing something wrong. Is there something special I need to do and does that check box exist regardless of whether there is HD radio or not?

There is a rumor that BMW will stop producing sedan M3, just coupé and also that the next-gen M3 will not come in the sedan form.

OP, that's a very nice car. I am not a fan of the gray color but Space Gray looks really nice.
