New Year's Resolution for 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S M3POST!

I'm surprised I haven't seen a new year's resolutions thread for this year, so I'll start one :] What are your goals and resolutions for this year, both for you and for your M?

For me:
- Start running again (at least 2 times a week)
- Get into work earlier (around 9:15am)
- Continue to have a positive attitude and be a positive influence to others (don't let negative people/things get to me)

For my m3:
- Learn how to drive my M the way it should be driven (gonna sign up for a high performance driving class)
- Mostly mini mods since I can't decide on any of the major mods yet:
-- Gloss black kidney grilles
-- Gloss black fender gills
-- Carbon Fiber hood vents (maybe?)

Nice idea for a thread... thanks for creating it bunny!

For me:
1. Complete the PSI L7 course with my partner
2. Start the search for second home / rental property
3. Make a more concerted effort to connect with extended family
4. Consistently attend yoga classes <-- more consistently than I did in 2010
5. Add vacation days (Friday / Monday) to weekends for more weekend getaways

For my M3, as I close in on my third year of ownership:
1. Have rims re-finished <-- repairing curb rash
2. Have driver-side door repainted <-- some a@@hole keyed my car a couple of months ago. Scratches are barely visible, but I know they're there.
3. Get windows tinted <-- could use some advice here.
4. Pick up new 2011 BMW NA Map Discs for Nav system

Definitely Huper Optik 40% all around (none on front windshield). Has fantastic heat rejection properties, zero interference w/ radio and electronic frequencies, and the 40%, IMO, looks just about perfect.

I always wanted to go to the BMW M school. Maybe I'll get a chance this year.

Other than that I can't think of any New Year resolutions -- I'm already perfect.

Cheers.

This year my New Years resolution is to not kill all the New Years resolutionists who crowd out my gym. It's an easy resolution to keep because I only have to succeed at it for 2-4 weeks, then the gym is good until next January.

I was just in McKinney, TX over the holidays! My advice on the romantic resolutions:

- take your wife to the spa more often or give her massages yourself
- surprise her with a home cooked meal (it's the thought that counts)
- date nights!
