Blow off Valve on the ESS 625 kit???????

I recently ordered the ESS VT2-625 7.5psi kit from IND and I asked Ilya if he could see if ESS would provide me with a custom Blow off valve for it. Im a turbo guy but since hpf bailed on the turbo e92 project, i had to go with the supercharger and so I was still looking for that blow off sound. Ilya said that ESS can in fact do such a thing, and all it requires is a slight retune and some additional hardware for mounting the BOV. I just want to know if you guys would do such a thing, or if u think its stupid that I asked for it????? Opinions people!!!

My concern is that I dont want people thinking I drive a 335i with M3 exhaust, m3 skirts, m3 everything.

Personally, I think it's stupid. But hey, whatever floats your boat. Do yourself a favor and stop worrying so much that other people will think that you're a poseur. I didn't buy the M3 to impress others. I bought to impress me. I think you will be happier with that philosophy too. So if you like the BOV, get it.

Not too crazy about the BOV sound either. I like the ESS kit b/c it sounds stock besides the little whine. I like it being stealth. I think with a loud BOV you're going to have people trying to race you more.

yep. that is the problem with my old 335i, every time I come to a stop light, some punks in his ricer civic tried to race me..enjoy the car whatever way you like it. if you like the wosh sound get the wosh sound. it is your car bro..

Very straight up response on ur part, thank you. Your absolutely right. I bought it to impress myself. I love the bov so I guess ill stick with it.
