From the looks of it, these are cast aluminum. Not saying they aren't effective, but I am saying that might be why they are so inexpensive in comparison. Also the ones I own have spring loaded grippers so you can press the pad up inside of the insert on the frame and then align your jack to that. It isn't necessarily a must have feature, but it makes things a bit easier. Again, not knocking these at all... just stating the differences. Last edited by Feyd; 02-01-2011 at 04:25 PM.. |

The other vendor's product (Reverse Logic) is a little different in that it is designed to stay put in the jack point while you bring the floor jack receptacle up to the adaptor. You pay the extra $14 for the rubber bullets and a block which is custom fit to your model, shipping is also included....

Now back in stock with some slight changes Still the low 19.00 price..
Changes: 1) They are now anodized black. 2) Our logo is now engraved after the anodizing (rather than silk screened) so it stands out a bit more. 3) We've added a criss/cross pattern to the bottom for a little better grip. 4) They are now made in the USA 5) Still only $19. You can Order off this link.. http://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?_...d&productId=77 Mike |

A pretty simple question, but it's never a question I've seen asked or addressed (or suggested) by any vendor of this type of product.
These are suggested to make jacking the car up easier, but what is everyone using to put their car on jack stands? I've always considered buying 4, but that obviously is somewhat expensive. My preferred method for lifting the car is driving up on a wood block so I can get my jack to the center jackup, then once it's in the air is when I find myself wanting some of these. Maybe offer a little deal for buying 4 and push that angle from a sales standpoint too? |
