Interesting report on the M Division sales
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=484005
The sales figures of the sedan caught my eye as I'm one of the few E90 M3 owners. I have to say I'd rather NOT have an X6 M instead... Sad to see many don't see it that way though.

Does someone have numbers comparing against other 70K plus cars. And maybe comparisons with against the likes of the C63.
It seems like I see a ton of e90 M3s. There's at least 4 sedans that I routinely see at my gym. |

I think sales are up 14.1% because people see the next few years as the last of the good years, motoring wise anyway.

So, it looks like less than 750 E90's were sold in the US in 2010 (using the percentage of E90's sold worldwide versus the total M's sold worldwide and comparing it to the US figure). I wonder if that means that total sales of E90's in the US is somewhere around 2,500 (assuming more units sold in the first year) for all production years?!? I like being in exclusive company!

The main reason I went with 4-doors over 2 has to do with safety. I found the B-pillar on the coupe is right in my blind spot when I look over my shoulder.

I sold my '09 M3 about 6 months ago, had about 3500 miles on it. I had a '05 and an '06, liked those a lot more than my '09. '09 was heavy and didn't like the elongated shape vs the body style of the '05 & '06. Just my opinion.
