Just got some JRZ RS dampers in!
I'm happy to tell you guys that there is now another suspension option for the E9xM3 chassis. The JRZ RS and RS Pro is now available and its no damper to be overlooked, these are a race bred damper that has been designed/engineered for street/track use.
The JRS RS/RS pro are both 2-way dampers the only difference is that the RS Pro has external reservoirs that allow the end user to adjust the nitrogen pressure. The JRZ RS also does allow for nitrogen pressure adjustment however they would have to be performed by an authorized JRZ service center. (If purchased from me I can have JRZ set the Nitrogen pressure to a custom spec to suit your driving needs.) The professional photos from JRZ are for an E9x Non-M, the kit for the E9xM3 will be very similar except for the rear shock mounting style. The photos took are for an E46M3, I know its not something you might be interested but its to show you guys the details/build quality of the JRZ's. We will have the E9xM3 setup in our hands in a couple of weeks... I'll update the thread later with those photos. E9X Non-M E46M3 |

Can't wait to hear the review. These were the best for the E46.

Hopefully they work just as well on the E9X M3 platform.
I went with 500/700 springs, plus helper springs.

Also just as a comment, 700 in the back may be a bit low and cause more understeer. I have 750 and my car still understeers slightly. If you haven't purchased the springs yet consider something higher.

Could you guys share how Moton/JRZ are related?

Those are some counter-productive (historically speaking) spring rates.
The e46m3 Race Cars (factory and private) would typically run 1000 front and 350 rear with no rear sway bar. The idea is that a front engine/rear wheel drive car needs a stiff front end to turn in --- and a soft rear end to hook up. I ran 850/650 on my stripped (but not race caged) e46m3 with great success. Not sure about all the "Continental Challenge" e92m3 guys -- but I would bet that they too are running a soft setup in the back as well. I plan on finding out soon. |

E9x chassis has a different rear suspension with different motion ratios, what worked well on the E46 chassis doesn't really work well on the E9x cars, a few suspension tuner found out the hard way by trial and error instead of doing the math first to get least somewhat close. |

And these spring rate principles are derived from years of front engined/rwd cars. It makes sense doesnt it?? What rates are you running on that e90 you accomplished that awesome time @ Laguna with? |

We eventually went to 500F and 900R after adding a 10cm front splitter and APR GTC-300 rear wing. |
