Front Mesh Grill Removal
Does anyone know how to remove the front mesh grill, preferably without taking off the bumper. If you look up from there ground there are two notches that look like they could be for removal, but I havent tried yet.
Thanks, D |

Sorry Man, you gotta take the bumper off. There is not enough room to do it any other way.

Their is no tool that will do it. The grille has to go in from behind. If you try and pry it out/improvise you risk damaging the bumper. Removing the bumper is actually really easy and would probably be quicker than trying to fight with it. Trust me I have my original bumper sitting at home and I had a good look at it (I currently have a eurobumper on my car).

Ive removed my bumper several times. Just dont like doing it. I know that you have to undo the clips and pull from the inside. When I said "fashion" a tool. I mean actually fabricate a tool to pull the tabs so I can push it inwards.
Worth a try! May take just as long to remove the bumper, but then later Ill have the tool. D |

Ill be working on this tomorrow. There only seems to be 6 clips on the top and 6 on the bottom. Once released it should just push in... I tried it the other day a bit, and there is a seal that is kinda in the way, but I may be able to do it.
