M Club Meet @ MSR Houston Sunday, April 17th
Still a month away but just wanted to see how many here can make it. We had a great turn out at our last event.
Activities will include:
Cost is $150 for six 30-min sessions. Rides are free. As always, you don't have to own an M to attend. Everyone is welcome. Event starts at 1pm until sunset. Richard |

Sorry, cant make it Richard as I'll be back offshore.
To those considering this event, trust me $150 for six 30 minute sessions is a great deal.

Does anyone have video from one of these events? Are all of the cars on the track at once? Any rock/debris damage?
I'm going to try and make this even if it's just to watch. I'd like to do some track time - I'm just curious how it works. How often does someone wreck out there? I went out to MSRH for my first track day (motorcycle) and while I was watching/waiting for my session a Ducati rider reached for the sky and caused a major wreck and damaged multiple bikes, so I went back home lol... I understand that it's a racetrack - but there are different degrees of risk I suppose. Thanks

I've tracked my bikes in when I was younger and it's all about pacing yourself and more importantly pacing yourself with traffic. I've never been to the M events but when I go to trackdays I never battle with anyone nor do I have anyone in front or behind if I can help it. I'll slow down to let people pass or even pull into the pits.

IMO it is one of the safer tracks I've been to. Run off is very generous and flat. I would highly recommend an instructor for your first time in a car. Feel free to shoot me a PM for more details. |

Richard,
So no pre-registration required, just show up and pay at the office? I'd like to come and burn up the last of my star specs and get a ride along in your monster. Since I haven't run at MSR-H, and have only done 2 DE's I want to make sure that I'll also be able to get some instructions.
