Upgrading stock head unit in E88 1 series.. Please help

Hi Guys,

Im a noob here, got a quick question.. are any annoying errors thrown up on the dash when the stock headunit is removed and replaced with an aftermarket one.

but would prefer something with GPS too if I can find it in a single din.

Remote mount the HU. Give it power, ground, and CAN.

You need the stock HU for any SW updates. Without the HU your car won't be able to get any updates.
