a guy on the boards has a 335i with M3 hood, fenders x4 , bumper... he did it right and covered the side gills but personally, i think the car looked great!
this car on the other hand, not so much

The black down the center of the hood is so annoying. there's a ton of them in LA like that. M3s, C class, with black/white hoods like that.
Second most annoying mod next to LED lines under headlights of non-Audis.

The hood has been installed by amateurs cheep makeover I call it.
The boys at the ///M Division would never ever let something like it leave there factory.

Aside from the hood not lining up correctly, I don't see what the problem is. The owner is obviously a car guy and he decided to customize his car the way he likes. Nothing wrong with that. As long as he doesn't go and stick some M emblems on the car I don't see what the big deal is.
Some folks are way to elitist when it comes to the M3, which only perpetuates the bad rep BMW owners get.
