Alas, between the 'Ring and the 2-Day M School I need to spend some time at work. I hope to do the Advanced M School at VIR this December.

I was there this past Sunday and while I was packing up 3 transport trucks loaded with M3's, M6's and I saw 2 1M's pulled into the paddock, probably 20-30 cars.

1Ms!!!! Sweet, I hope we get a few passes in that car. I really want to drive that car on the track and see how it handles the heat.

I hear you. Did the Ring last year, Spa, Sebring and Homestead. Knocking VIR, Daytona and Road Atlanta off the list this year.

Say hi to Donnie Isley for us. He's at VIR right now with the 1M (pic below) and will be one of the instructors.
And if you're looking for an enthusiastic and encouraging instructor, be sure to get him in your passenger seat Hope everyone enjoys their time at VIR!

Some Teaser Pics
I'm lobbying for a shot at one of the two 1Ms (AW and VO) there. It's going to be hot so I really want to see what this car is made of.

Looks like you are having a good time at Advanced ///M School. I almost signed up for that session, how ironic would that have been! Did they let you drive the 1Ms? They had just received them when I did the one-day ///M School in SC in mid-May.
The one-day was an awesome day so I am looking forward to Advanced at VIR. Getting in two complete revolutions of the skid pad in a continuous drift, only stopped because I had to share the car, was my highlight!
