Voice guided GPS on or off?

Hi guys,

Do you use your GPS with the audio guides on or off? I had to turn it off... Nothing more embarrasing than having your music cranked with windows down only for it to say 'In 200 metres, turn right'

Audio on only in unfamiliar towns. Otherwise I just use the screen and dial.

ALWAYS off. thats why we have the side bar to give us details about how far untill we need to turn when, or what exit ramp to get off of.

cant have that bitch interrupting my music.

When I was in Europe I always left it on. I was so concentrating on unfamiliar traffic signals, driving behaviour and traffic rules that I did not want to look at the screen much. When I get it here I imagine I'll usually turn it off as I'll mostly be looking for specific addresses on streets I already know. It's great to have the choice.

i keep it on, but I also use Route List as well to give me perspetive of how long I have until I have to make my next turn.
