Drivers door jam oil leaking from rubber plugs

On my e92 i've noticed I've got what looks to be oil leaking from the black rubber grommets or plugs that are on the door inside the drivers door jam. The oil is a nice clean oil color, it's thinner than grease and is running down the door and down the side underbody skirt. I've wiped it away a few times and it continues to return. Why would there be that much oil in my door? I've noticed the window is making a funny clunking noise when it goes up and down. I'm wondering if a motor has failed inside the door and is tossing out oil.
Anyone else seen this or have advice? I'm under warranty so I might as well just take it in and see what the oil drips are about. It makes the car look ugly with it dripping down the door sill skirts.
Thanks.

Is it more oily (liquid) or more wax-like? If its yellow and wax-like I'd say it's leftover cosmoline. BMW does a terrible job of clearing it off.

yeah it's between light brown and dark yellow, smells like oil on the finger. It's left a trail down the drivers door leaking out of the black boot and wire pass grommets in the door. There are 2 boot/plugs that its running out of. It runs down the door and then when it rains it gets washed out and drips down the bottom side underbody kit. I've wiped it away, but it returns in a few weeks.
Thnx.

BMW still uses cosmoline?

There every time I was the car. How do you get rid of it once and for all?

I just picked up my 2011.5 10 days ago and had the same thing. When I washed my car for first time I used a little bug and tar remover and it came right off
