Cleaning IDrive, push buttons are sticking
Dose anyone know how to remove the Round IDrive and clean the buttons, I spilled some tea on the buttons and they keep sticking when I push them.
Thanks |

you can just pull up on the wheel it pops right out. Removing the button portion is a little more tricky because you have to remove the entire panel there to get it up.

Can the individual buttons be popped out once you remove the controller? My menu button is sticking like crazy. Would rather not have to buy a $208 replacement controller! Thanks for any help!!!

Sticky idrive botton
Hi, i had the same problem and i cleaned it with brake cleaner, just spry it in and push the button down and lift it up with a smal screwdriver do it a few times, and it is free again. Dont forget to clean the spoiled cleaner and use siliconsspray to make the buttons shine again. And the problem is solved.

i've had a lot of success with alcohol to remove dried up coke stains
and that's the one you drink, not the one you snort try a cotton bud dipped in alcohol and wipe all around the button and see if it helps a can of compressed air also doesn't hurt
