BMW 128i bluetooth

Hi I purchased a 2012 BMW 128i that has bluetooth handsfree and ipod/USB integration ports. But the bluetooth handlsfree only supports phone calls not A2DP. Is there a way to upgrade to get A2DP support?

Audio support apart from the voice. Basically all phone calls get transferred to vehicle speakers but songs played are not transferred to the vehicle's speaker via bluetooth.

i think that your looking for the snap in adapter and its doc.. i dont that that your car is equipted.. thats what you want..

If you go on to BMWUSA and go to accessories / telephone, you will see what i mean.

You need navigation/combox for Bluetooth music streaming.

So you are saying that you need *both* the comm box and nav?

I don't have Nav, but comm box is a line item on my buy sheet. Note that this must be the case, as mentioned above, music does not stream over bluetooth.
