new found admiration for the m3
I just spent a few days skiing in the mountains and came away more in love with the M3 than ever. I can't think of another car that does so many things so well. I packed my daughter's and I suitcases and skiing gear into the trunk, then had two epic drives on route 194 from Banner Elk to Boone, charging the mountain road one switchback after the other. I had been entertaining the idea of trading into a GTR, not anymore...I am sure I would miss the flexibility of this car.

Awesome. Just got my m3 two weeks ago and this makes me want to take it up to Tahoe in the spring or summer. Glad it was such a great ride for you!

My first trip after picking it up at the Performance Delivery Center was through the mountains to my cabin in Boone. A dream drive! Get this, I was going 80 around the Blue Ridge Parkway testing the curves (35-45 mph speed limit) and got an unexplainable urge to slow down. As soon as I got within an acceptable range of the speed limit I passed a National Trooper; facing my direction; with radar out; looking for speeders.
I've not yet gotten a speeding ticket in this baby 7 1/2 months into ownership even though I've been stopped twice; both times the cops telling me they loved my car.
