Alligment included in warranty?

Hello everyone,

I wonder if the dealer will align my car under warranty.

Any experience?

I had the same issue...went to my SA and SM and told them that it felt like it was out of alignment and they said they would fix it under warranty if it was out of spec for sure, but if it wasn't out of spec, they would charge me $150 for the diag/time on the machine. I said sure since I was so sure it was out of spec, they fixed it for free. I'm assuming every dealership is different but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

My dealer did a 1 mile road test and then refused because the car wasn't pulling.

Best to just find a good shop and have them do your own settings.

Generally no..unless they needed to do an alignment b/c they had to replace or remove suspension parts under warranty.

But if you have to do an alignment b/c you hit something or changed something on the car then no you have to pay for an alignment..BMW charges around $200 for it

If it is related to a factory defect then yes, if you hit a curb or something else then not.

Perhaps you know when it changed and why. If you hit something or went thru large pot holes then there is normally evidence to that on the wheels and the dealer will look for that.

Good Luck
