Does this madness ever end?
How many times did you accidently go over 5500 rpms before the 1200 mile break in period?
I'm at 950 miles and I am about to go crazy. |

Same here...once or twice...but the motor is so responsive in Sport Plus Mode that if you aren't carefull it will get up there very fast.
And then you have to deal with every punk modster out there with half their bullshit hanging on by twist ties wanting to race... bout to lose my mind!!!! |

Your good. My understanding is after 600 mi your broken in. It's just a number and I'm pretty sure your SA will have nothing to say either.

Dealer told me that once the engine was at operating temperature, while driving the car, briskly accelerate above 5500 rpm then snap the throttle closed. They said to this several times during the 1200 mile break-in as well as normal driving.
When the 1200-mile service was performed, I was informed that the car's electronics (programming) was taken out of the "break-in" mode? Don't know if this is fact but, the car behaved very different after the 1200 mile service. More responsive it seemed. |

We test drive them brand new out of the box like they were at track day. They only thing we do is allow the oil to come up to tmp at hwy speeds before we romp on them. Its the brakes that need some brake in.
